As the leader for the state of Nevada under the White House initiative Startup America Partnership during President Obama's administration, I successfully brought the Nevada region into this billion-dollar public-private initiative. Drawing on insights from my doctoral research in the management practices of sovereign wealth funds, I envision a state where access to quality education, healthcare, and entrepreneurial resources empowers every Nevadan to thrive.
